I was intrigued with Missouri Star Quilt Co Bordered Periwinkle tutorial and needed (wanted) to make one of my own.
I mixed Moda Sweetwater Feed and Boathouse fabrics together.
The pattern is a foundation pieced quilt, perfect to bring on my vacation to San Diego earlier this month.
The hotel had amble room for my set-up.
But I think I did more hanging out by the pool than sewing, hey I was on vacation. :-)
I always feel hanging out by a pool on vacation seems more glamorous than by my own pool.
I did get all the blocks cut...
trimmed...
and pieced into a top.
It's going to be a fun quilt to longarm quilt!
